Guess who’s awful at these things?
That’s right this dude….
Finally a blog post. It’s been a while. I have tons of stuff to talk about this time.
Not sure where to start so I think I’ll just poop out on my keyboard what I can remember.
The scream it like you mean it tour is finally over and It wasa success. I went to a good handful of dates spread all over the place. I went to the first night, which, honestly was quite the cluster fuckeroo. Wayyyy too many bands and things going on. I went to Orlando and St.pete, which ruled because I got to go and hang out with friends and go to all these places I havent been to in a while, including my favorite comic book store… I grabbed a few things

When I was in Orlando I hung out with designer pal, Horsebites and for those of you who know him, he’s not just known for his bad assical artwork. He’s also known for knowing the best places to eat. We hit up a local mexican joint
and went to jeremiah’s after. Which, if you are ever in orlando YOU HAVE TO get. It’s basically italian ice and ice cream mixed and It’s pretty damn glorious. I got Coconut italian ice mixed with chocolate ice cream. The crunch mixed with thr creaminess, wow… here’s what a typical “gelati” looks like there…
which was perfect for the 103 degree weather, sayyy what???!!! yea fucking 103. disgusting…
I always wonder how Horsebites finds all these places, Sometimes you just stumble across them, like I did this bad ass hot dog bar on the way to the st.pete scream it show.
It’s basically like subway and you can make whatever hot dog you want. they have all kinds of sizes. (that’s what she said). I made a hot dog and chili, nacho cheese and bacon with potato sticks dog, and then I made a “fieta dog” which I made up when I was there and they said they would add to their menu (they actually take the best recipes and put them on the menu). It was a hot dog, chicken, salsa, queso, jalapenos, cheese, nacho chips and spicy ranch. It was pretty amazing. If when I go back it’s still there, I’m definitely going to whip up some other combos.
It was awesome to go to hartford scream it date too and see a shitload of friends in call the cops and therefore I am.
speaking of tours and buds. A few weeks ago I got to hang out with my NFG buddies and catch their set which was a perfect combination of songs / set list. These dudes are one of my favorite clients to work with. I did all their tour shirts as well as their stage set up, which is pretty amazing in person.
Chad, a huge UFC/MMA buff gave me a lesson and we watched a few fights, dude loves it. Pretty funny.
Today my drum kit I had been waiting 3 months for finally came. I did a bunch of tests in the basement to make sure you couldnt hear it outside. I still need to pick up another cymbal stand and a new pedal and a throne and then it will be time to make some noiseeee. I can finally use these headphones too, I’ve been dying to open them…
speaking of awesome stuff. My friend Sam, released 2 new tees a few weeks ago and he sent me one. which I friggin’ love. I’m super into simple 1 color designs. make sure you check out his stuff at www.leadandlight.org and be on the look out for a collab from sam and I in the fall line ;)

This week pop tarts world opened in times square. Now I have been looking for a reason to go back to the city, and dammit, I think I have one. I’ll probably scope this out next weekend, I’ll prob take some pics of the crazyness. I basically go to the city to eat and check out crate and barrel and H&M and head back.
My friend Raul in san diego calls me the fattest skinny kid he knows. It’s the truth. Movies, designing and food are the only things that really make me happy. I actually can’t wait to see him and bailey bear in a few weeks when I head out there so Adam Elmakias can shoot the new stuff. The best breakfast place I’ve ever eaten at is out there. Man do I love me some mission.(that’s the name of the place)…
It was a crazy month of being off from freelance to work on the new ez, which is may I say so MASSIVELY insane, I mean in size and quality. I want to talk more about it, but i feel like I should hold off so I actually have something to talk about in upcoming blogs.
Things have been picking up since i’ve been back from my EZ leave. Loads of new The Devil Wears Prada stuff, stuff for conditions and I’m actually doing my first official movie poster this weekend, which I am BEYOND excited to start. I had the chance to update my portfolio as well, which you can scope out at www.kyleisez.com
ROWDY GOT A HAIR CUT AHHHHHH!
I think I might do a new and improved cribs episode soon. I ordered a buttload of new prints and there’s a lot of things I want to get framed. So once that’s out of the way I’ll have to put a little something up.
