Whales Vagina

Twice a year I head out to the beauuuuuutiful San Diego to hang with my pal, Adam Elmakias and shoot Electric Zombie photos. I look forward to these times the most during the year because Adam is such a sincere, honest, and awesome dude, and he’s probably one of the only other people who loves food as much as I do. In fact, if you even mutter anything food related, he’s always like, “Yayyyy,foooodddd”, in the middle of whatever it is he’s doing. I seriously eat so much when I hang with him. We make our routine stops at Hash House and Mission and usually some sort of junk food goodness and of course the group dinner at Cheesecake Factory. I think this was the funnest (I don’t care if it’s a word or not) shoot we did. Not sure if it was because this was I think the 6-7 shoot together, but because we were all sipping drinkies and mojitos and picking on Adam, goofing around and of course sharing my gay person spotting theory. It’s always a blast hanging out with these guys and having faces that everyone relates and recognizes, and I grow closer to, even if only for a few hours. It’s a fun and yet stressful experience, especially with such a massive line, with each one topping the next, I always get paranoid if I’m forgetting a shot or twelve. It’s a nice little mini vacation. (although there’s more work than anything) I can’t wait to see the San Diego crew again in 4 months. MOJITOSSSSSSSS.
