I saw a fellow t-shirt brand, make a post defending Jordan, to which another designer called him a “voice of reason”. voice of reason? how about a voice of reality? the dude is retarded, yet hes going to school for business? he’s doing it completely wrong. lets be real about his shit.

Ive got bands, asking me to send over back drops so that JORDAN can have his logo put on it and he can pay for a backdrop. He measures the amount of success he has, by putting in a spread ad in AP, he gloated about that shit on his facebook. COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU GUYS, THANK YOU SO MUCH! the dude spends all his money on tours, to get his logo about 1 inch on a tour poster. TOTALLY fucking worth it. Buying all kinds of backdrops and promising things to bands. He throws these kids’ money around for these fucking fad bands, and uses that to boost his name. Not the artwork, not by being a real genuine dude, BANDS.he leeches his name to these little fucking girls and teenage dudes who want to join bands and fuck chicks, AWFUL. This dude, has asked me for artwork and lowballed me in price. and he basically got this jared dude ( i think thats his name) who jocks mine and hydro 74 and other “street wear” artists, charges like 150 , (ive had bands quote me on that, because my rate is too high and they can just hire him) and just throws together this gigantic fucking mess of a line thats basically a walking zoo. AWESOME. the only time he ever had ANY concept was that time that he joined forces with that other company, who was so awesome and relevant that I dont even remember its name to throw it out there. THAT had a theme, decent art and consistency. I had a dude who used to do business with him, facebook messaging me, saying that he bought his likes. that theres a site where you can buy likes, much like when bands used to buy plays for myspace, so they could get signed easier by labels. he even showed me a price chart, I cant even find the post/message, or else I would post it. They post a fucking product shot every hour. EVERY. HOUR. he cons these kids into thinking theyre getting this great deal, one day its 20, the next day its 30, then the next its the same code for about 2 weeks, but its a different fucking phrase like, “ISHITONGRANDMA” “MYDOGTHREWUP” “IJUSTATEASANDWICH” AND THEN free shipping.

now lets cover that topic for a second… Me being a brand owner, knows how this stuff works. He prints on american apparel. lets go ahead and do an example.

sure hes making money if he wasnt offering free shipping.

i count 5 colors. 6 if the printers want to count the under base. I’ll be nice and say 5 on american apparel, thats about 7-8 bucks to print. so he’s bringing home 2 bucks. And that’s his most expensive shirt. right now he’s got stuff up for 14.99, and 10 bucks. I’m sure when he does his collab shirts, he has to do some sort of split with them. and you have a staff? how is 2 bucks times even lets say 1000-even 5000 orders a week even paying for anything? yea maybe thats not my business, but this is why i cant stand the dude remember last year whenever I bashed him on flash sales? he sends me an email being nice, yes, but then admits he did that to pay off his warped tour debt he has tried to help me out, by giving me a contact or 2, which I quickly deleted, I’d just be giving that guy a reason to say he “helped” me. not to mention, he attempted to get me fired from my job, SWEET GUY HUH? I forever hate this mother fucker.

while i have bashed glamour kills in the past for the money and generic designs. i completely respect the shit out of mark. he is the brand, he works hard, he works with these bands, builds relationships, has a great staff, a warehouse, offices, his shit together. he is the vision, the designer and a fucking good dude. I might not LIKE what he designs as my personal taste, and i might not agree with what he does with his money.

but like myself, and people like milestogoclothing, glamour kills, and stheart, we are the brand, from designing the websites, garments, look books, catalogs, ideas, getting our hands dirty, actually being involved with the brand and brands integrity and designs everything. I just can’t respect this guy, it’s something that will never ever happen and I will continue to rant and air our any of my opinions on him, no matter how many times you try to get me fired, cool guy.
