SWINDLED 2011, Oh, It’s called Bamboozle.

I completely forgot about writing this blog months and months ago. I was so consumed with getting the line out and ready and then getting bitch slapped by bands on warped tour with work, that this just slipped my mind on the to do list. I was quickly reminded when I was prepping for the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour. I’m going to be on the road selling EZ every night, as well as shooting video and candid Behind the scenes of the tour and New Found Glory, Should be cool. I used to do a bunch of video editing before I got into the whole band design deal. I wasn’t anything spectacular. Good at editing scenes and sound clips etc etc. The basics really. I’m not completely confident getting into a full on work load while on tour. So I’ll be on a design vacation (for the most part) Plus I need my space, and my thinking room and quiet time. Realistically, that’s just not going to happen. So I need something to keep me busy. I’ll be making a new EZ site, new store, and loads of other stuff. But on the side I’ll be doing the video / photo thing. Which made me think of my buddy Adam Elmakias ( www.adamelmakias.com ) . He does that kind of thing a lot. I remembered how he shot Bamboozle for me, and I forgot to write the blog and post the pictures. So here they are. There were a ton more. I went ahead and picked out the best of the worst, haha. These are in no order.

Me and Gooch Mouth (Welcome, yea that’s his name…sorta) Getting our green glow on. No, it’s not dead business wise. It’s because everyone is watching whomever headlined on Friday night ( I forget, see! should have wrote this blog in may, blah!)

Saturday morning, dealing with the wind. Worst part of the weekend.

Nick and Matt from D.R.U.G.S. popping by and getting some goodies. Known those guys for forever, 2 of my first bands I’ve ever designed for came from 2 separate bands of theirs. Underminded and From First To Last, in case you’ve been living under a rock, or on the radio jamming Nickelback or Godsmack or whatever.

I was set up next to Johnny Cupcakes. We shot the shit, and dice (like in the pic) and talked business, and future projects and fun kid stuff. Was pretty awesome. His crew were the best to be around. Hopefully we’re around each other next year

Wore the fuck out. Yea, so what, I sleep in the shape of a 4, GET OFF MY BACK!

This year’s Bamboozle was seriously one of the best. I had a lot of band friends there. I met a lot of my designer pals, who also have clothing lines, that were vending there. Hung out with Liz Lee and her posse and gave her some stuff. Hung with NFG, and watched them play their hoodwink set, which ruled BTW. The weather (Minus the wind) was perfect. The concert go’ers didn’t annoy the piss out of me. It’s got me excited for next year. That’s if i make it out of the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour alive. Fingers Crossed.
